This month, March 2024, Iceland experienced it’s fourth volcanic eruption in three months. This will be an incredible sight to behold and this is why we are planning this trip so soon.

Following our arrival in Reykjavik, we’ll be staying first at our rustic cabins in the countryside followed by our lovely hotel in the city.
We’ll have daily field trips to view some of the most notable sites Iceland has to offer, some on the beaten path, and some less so which our guide, Deron, also the founder of Event Horizon Travel, will share with us from his vast experience and travels to Iceland. In 2021 when Fagradallsfjall erupted, Deron hopped on a plane and had the privilege of hiking twice to see the activity — one of the most fascinating and emotional experiences of his life.
We’ll have the opportunity for daily yoga and mindfulness sessions, as well as our adventures.
We have wonderful restaurants selected for a full cultural experience.

From soaking in a variety of hot springs, taking walks to waterfalls, a geyser and lava fields, some of which might be active, to visiting the oldest lagoon in Iceland, a famous cathedral and opera house, to a black sand beach and more, this retreat will cover a vast variety of activities and locations.

I’ve traveled to more than 40 countries and territories (so far); I’ve stayed in some of the world’s top resorts and also slept in bus stations, airports, and even in cars in parking lots.
Having the pleasure, privilege, and honor of trust of people from around the world, I’ve been able to plan, arrange, and book thousands of experiences for guests from all over the world and to all seven continents.

Payments:
A non-refundable deposit of $725 by April 8, 2024 will secure your spot. Since this group experience is happening very soon and our commitment to the cabins, hotel and activies will be locked, we’re unable to refund deposits and other payments. However, you may transfer your deposit to someone else until April 15, 2024 or you may apply $500 toward our Iceland retreat in November (dates TBD).
We encourage you to purchase travel insurance to cover any extenuating circumstances. Deron can assist in seeking out the right policy for you.
