4 Elements Iceland Immersion Experience November 9 – 15, 2025

Sabré, at Freedom Journey, will bring her 10 years+ of experience leading international retreats to the amazing country of Iceland–on everyone’s bucket list, whether they’ve been there or not! We’ll be joining forces with Deron, at Event Horizon Travel, to draw upon his background organizing outstanding travel experiences and specifically his knowledge from over 15 trips to Iceland. We’ll combine forces in crafting an unforgettable travel and retreat experience to you! We have an unyielding commitment to detail, creating unique opportunites and extraordinary memories. Following our arrival in Reykjavik, we’ll be staying first at our rustic cabins in the countryside followed by our lovely hotel in the city. We’ll have daily field trips to view some of the most notable sites Iceland has to offer, some on the beaten path, and some less so which our guide, Deron, also the founder of Event Horizon Travel, will share with us from his vast experience and travels to Iceland. Among the highlights, and these just the tip of the icebergsmile, Lake Laugarvatn, Golden Circle, Gulfoss Waterfall, Icelandic Horses, a black sand beach, hotsprings, a Viking ship, a boatride to Glacier Ice, an ice cave AND ice cream We’ll have the opportunity for daily yoga and mindfulness sessions, as well as our adventures. We have wonderful restaurants selected for a full cultural experience. There are several accommodation packages and pricepoints, which we offer for your choosing. The theme of this Iceland adventure retreat is the 4 Elements. We will integrate Nature’s elements of Air, Water, Earth and Fire into both our daily outdoor explorations and our inner explorations through yoga, breathwork and mindfulness. The focus element of each day will be sychronized in all we offer.
Throughout our time we will be watching for sightings of the Northern Lights as this is the start of Aurora Borealis season. Nature will decide if and when this happens, so we cannot guarantee seeing them. We can be ready though!

Meet your Leaders

Hi! I’m Sabré!
I’ve been teaching yoga for 28 years, in many different settings with students of all ages.
Before moving to Colorado for 25 years, I was a massage therapist on Martha’s Vineyard. I received my BA in Creative Writing from UTEP in my hometown of El Paso, Texas, where I recently relocated.

Ten years ago, I decided to blend my love of yoga with my passion for travel, exploration, and building community and founded Freedom Journey Yoga & Retreats.

Since then, I’ve led 15 international retreats from Mexico to Central and South America, and Europe.
I’m very excited to continue on my Freedom Journey venturing into new settings and sharing experiences with curious and adventurous groups of humans.

Hi! I’m Deron!

I’m an ordinary guy with a life’s worth of unique and extraordinary experiences in my 40-ish years:
I’ve traveled to more than 40 countries and territories (so far); I’ve stayed in some of the world’s top resorts and also slept in bus stations, airports, and even in cars in parking lots.
Having the pleasure, privilege, and honor of trust of people from around the world, I’ve been able to plan, arrange, and book thousands of experiences for guests from all over the world and to all seven continents.
From honeymoons to group adventure trips; from family getaways to solo adventures; for guests of all budget levels; and, everything in between.
I believe my main purpose in life is to create environments for people to grow and flourish through love, trust, courage, immersion, and experience.

Payments:

A non-refundable deposit of $850 by June 1, 2024 will secure your spot. Because our commitment to the cabins, hotel and activities are locked, we are unable to refund deposits. However, you may transfer your deposit to someone else until August 1, 2024 or you may apply $500 toward a future retreat in 2025.
If you pay your deposit by May 1, you’ll receive a $50 discount off your deposit price!
$150 discounts are offered for registrations paid in full by May 26, 2024.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made before 8/1/2024 receive 75% of total paid above deposit.
Cancellations made between 8/1-8/15 receive 50% of total paid above deposit.
Cancellations made after 8/15/2024 receive no refund.

If you are feeling a little more spontaneous, Deron and Event Horizon Travel are offering a trip May 11-18, 2024. This will be a completely different itinerary and focused on Puffins!
